The website www.vilpak.lt (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") is owned by “Vilniaus Pakuotė” UAB / VILPAK UAB (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

Use of cookies (Cookies)

To improve your browsing experience, for internal statistics and direct marketing purposes, the Website uses cookies. Cookies are small files that are placed on your web browser and stored in the memory of your device. Cookies are placed on your device when you first visit the Website and are subsequently used to identify the same device, thereby facilitating your access to the Website and the information contained on it.

The Website uses tools Google analytics and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google AdWords) to collect and transmit information of your login IP address, the time and duration of your browsing session, the pages visited and the actions taken by you (such as button clicks or form confirmations). This information is stored on Google servers in the United States and is subsequently used by Google for the purpose of reports on the use of the Website and for personalised digital marketing solutions, without identifying visitors. Use of personal information

The Company is not responsible for the processing of your personal data on any third-party websites, including the instances where you access them via links provided on the Website. We recommend that you read the privacy policy of each website you visit that is not owned by us.
Personal data is protected against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure and unauthorised use. You are entitled to know how your personal data is used. If this information is incorrect, incomplete or inadequate, please report it using the particulars provided on the Company's contact page. You have the right to request at any time that the Company rectify or delete the personal data you have provided, or to discontinue the use of such data.

Your personal data is protected in accordance with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette, 1996, No 63-1479; 2008, No 22-804). Your rights are also protected by the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette., 1994, No. 94-1833; 2007, No. 12-488).

Business contacts and B2B outreach

Your right to object. You can object at any time, free of charge, to our use of your data for direct marketing – simply reply "no" to our e-mail or write to info@vilpak.lt. We will then stop contacting you for marketing and keep only your e-mail address and the date of your objection on a suppression list, so that we do not contact you again.

Who is responsible. Vilniaus pakuotė UAB (Vilpak), company code 302687051, Savanorių pr. 219A, LT-02300 Vilnius, Lithuania, info@vilpak.lt, +370 5 263 6472, is the controller of the personal data described in this section. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

Which data. If you work at a company that may need packaging (a prospective or existing business customer), we process: your name, job title, company and country; business e-mail address; business phone number (switchboard, direct or mobile work number); a link to your public professional profile (e.g. LinkedIn); and records of our communication with you (e-mails, calls, meetings and notes in our CRM).

Sources. If you did not give us the data yourself, we obtained it from your company's website, public business registers and directories, professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn) and business data providers (Clay – Clay Labs Inc., USA; Kaspr; Lusha). On request, we will tell you where your specific data came from.

Purposes and legal basis. We use the data to offer our packaging products and services to your company and to follow up on our business conversations (B2B direct marketing and sales). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reaching and serving business customers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use business contact details only. Where national law requires prior consent for marketing e-mails, we e-mail you only after you have agreed or contacted us yourself.

Recipients. IT service providers acting as our processors under data processing agreements: e-mail sending platform (Smartlead – 521 Products Pty Ltd, Australia), data enrichment (Clay Labs Inc., USA), our CRM system (hosting provider, country), e-mail and office tools (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace / Hostinger). We do not sell your data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA. Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, in particular in Australia and the USA. These transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR) or, where the US recipient is certified, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795). You can request a copy of these safeguards at info@vilpak.lt.

Retention. If we have not contacted you within one month after obtaining your data, we delete it. If no business relationship develops, we delete your data no later than [12] months after our last contact with you. If your company becomes our customer, we keep business contact data for as long as the business relationship lasts and as required by law. We keep the suppression list for as long as we carry out B2B marketing.

Your other rights. You have the right to access your data (including its source), to have it rectified or erased and to restrict its processing. You can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

Disclaimer

The Company makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Website up-to-date, relevant, accurate and complete, however, does not guarantee the complete accuracy and usefulness of the information. The Company shall not be liable for any actions that may have been affected by the information provided on the Website or for the consequences of such actions.

The content of the Website shall be subject to changes, corrections or supplements at any time.
